Scheme name: gsos

Status: Provisional

Applications/protocols that use this scheme name: GSOS-capable applications use gsos URIs to identify spatial cells and resources. gsos://K2/ identifies the standalone K2 cell; gsos://L2/D1/ identifies cell D1 within layer L2. A resolver provides authenticated cell metadata and endpoints. The URI does not itself define a transport protocol. See the attached specification, “GSOS URI Scheme, Version 0.2.”
